I like it. But was wondering how that was achieved (it's true that i have an interest in both typography and physics simulations). I'm assuming that it's using something like Fourier diffusion to create that visual effect.

Not at all, much simpler, it's the same technique as this:

http://lefebvre.sylvain.free.fr/gltut/diffusion/

The screen is divided into a grid and the vertices offset to warp the image, the result is blitted onto itself as a starting point for the next frame, repeat.

Great effect, what's the Nanika website going to involve?

Nanika is a new company Andreas and I have formed, with the aim of exploring interaction between man and machine beyond traditional input and output.

Showreel is done, but not uploaded.
Mission statement is being written as I type.
1st project goes live in several locations worldwide very soon...

Are you exhibiting the work offline?

Absolutely, the first project is still crazy secret, but depending on where you live you could see our contribution during the next year.
The second project should be on Oxford Street in London this year if everything goes to plan.

After that there's stuff that may or may not happen, keep an eye on the site!
